2014 in Review
“As the years pass, I am coming more and more to understand that it is the common, everyday blessings of our common everyday lives for which we should be particularly grateful. They are the things that fill our lives with comfort and our hearts with gladness -- just the pure air to breathe and the strength to breath it; just warmth and shelter and home folks; just plain food that gives us strength; the bright sunshine on a cold day; and a cool breeze when the day is warm." Laura Ingalls Wilder
As 2014 has come and gone, I can't help but look back be nothing but grateful. It was one of the most life changing years for me and full to the brim of blessing after blessing. Even though my camera got put on the back burner a lot, I was blessed to work with a few amazing people and families this year- all whom I call dear friends! Some highlights definitely would be doing a shoot for a family with paragliders (super cool!), borrowing my southern bestie's camera and doing a last minute shoot of her beautiful family, shooting two weddings, and even getting to squeeze in a shoot with my adorable siblings. :)
To each of you who trusted me to capture your memories- THANK YOU. Extremely grateful for each and every one of you.
I could't be more excited about the coming year and all it has to hold! Here are a few of 2014 favorites-
